Brief history

FELO tradition dates back to the year 1878, when August F. Holland-Letz built a factory for screwdrivers, pliers, hammers and other forged tools. Since the beginning of the last century the work has been export-orientated. Today we supply customers in Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, the Far East and Africa.

Present

FELO is one of the leading specialists for quality screwdrivers and bits in Germany. Strength of innovation and the highest quality standards characterize the company. Advanced technological ideas, like the 2 component handle and the TiN-bit, were conceived at Felo. Today, 180 employees develop and produce well over 1 million tools per month on more than 8000 m² of company facilities for a growing clientele.

FELO operates globaly with three product category:

a) FELO brand screwdrivers and bits, in an extensive programme geared to market requirements
b) Private brand screwdrivers and bits, often in a unique, exclusive product design
c) Tools for the automotive industry

The dedication of management team is not only evident in the double-figured growth rate, inventive products and many international patents, but is also proven by its activities regarding environmental duties. Since 2003 FELO production has been certified to conform to EMAS, the advanced European environmental industry standard.

The effiency of our quality management is also unequivocal:
In 1996 FELO was certified by ISO 9001 standards and in 1998, sections of its production were audited according to the subsequent automotive norm QS 9000.
